Southwell Artspace is to close in early 2009.
Tsumani Art and Music Project
Artspace artist, Geoff Litherland led students in their exploration of the relationship between sound and music.
The project aims were to develop students synaesthetic awareness of the overlapping structures found in music and visual arts.
The Year 10 music and art students at the Minster School created a film to accompany pieces composed in response to the theme of Tsunami. The process of film making introduced them to new skills such as animation, film and video editing and were developed in collaboration with Jan Sprawson, Curriculum Team Leader for Technology, Art and Design at Minster School.
