Southwell Artspace is to close in early 2009.
Summer Comic Sessions
Working with a group of 20 young people from around the Mansfield area, Professional cartoonist ‘Brick’ enabled them to produce a comic book.
Participants spent two days working with Brick to learn about cartoon narrative and illustration and ultimately produce their own comic strips. The art of Adam Dant and Stuart Parkinson was the source of their inspiration as they tackled contemporary cartoon styles and storylines.
