Southwell Artspace is to close in early 2009.
Digital Drawing live performances
Celebrating the arrival of Artspace’s Digital Drawing exhibition “A Space to Think Outside the Body”, curated by Frank Abbott, the opening event hosted two live performances.
Nottingham artists, Ayling and Conroy’s work “A la Pencil” was performed by Frank Abbott, who dressed as a human pencil in order to draw on the gallery walls in response to the artists requests.
There was also spontaneous music and drawing from Zoom Quartet Vs Wacom 2 (artists Glyn Brewerton and Andrew Spackman), who produced live musical compositions and wacom tablet drawings.
